Former 23 year customers. Don't know what happened to these people

If there was a place that was really good, this was it. We've been customers for 23 years and have rarely had bad experiences until the last few visits. Same manager as always but she made us pay for barbeque chicken that was 'dry hulled'. We don't have much time when eating so waiting on reprepared food isn't always an option. She insisted they would have reprepared it, 'if it was bad . . .' leaving us with the feeling we had just been called liars. "That'll be $22.95!" Cha ching! Are we willing to throw away 23 years of good dining experiences over this? You betcha! Recent visits ticked us off and this was the icing on the cake. I would recommend the owners go back a few years, remember what they did then and repeat it. To lose a customer of 23 years over a $9.00 piece of chicken was shallow on their part since I've spent thousands with them over the years. It's the principle and I won't patronize a place that makes me pay for bad food or service! I'm not saying a good meal is impossible here. They have a stellar past record but their newfound poor policies on bad food strikes it off my list and the last several times we've been served overdone food.
