The only Frank Lloyd Wright structure in the state of Alabama, the Rosenbaum House was one of the first dwellings to incorporate a carport, use under-floor heating, curtain walls and a multi-level, cantilevered roof. The Usonian-style home was one of approximately 50 such houses designed by Wright, who aimed to create low-cost homes for young middle-income families. Sitting on two well-maintained acres near downtown Florence, the home faces the Tennessee River.
